In its simplest form, a subscriber enters his or her details into our database,
with information of the type of relationship they are looking for. The
subscriber then sits back as our powerful database system goes to work. When it
finds that special person, it will automatically alert the subscriber via the

Are the members on this site screened?
A valid email address is required in order to obtain the full benefit of
this site. Anyone abusing the services will be banned. However, our service is

checks on members, and we expect you to understand that we cannot take

The number of replies you get from other members will depend greatly on the
quality of your profile. Here are some helpful tips that will help you:

You can either upload a photo from a digital camera or by scanning in the

When members search listings on the site, the title of your profile is
listed next to your name. As a general rule, profile titles like Hi! does not
catch peoples attention, where as more personalized titles do.

Are profiles censored, and is there any limit to what I
can put in my profile?
Yes! all profiles are censored. AmericanLoveZone.com Membership team approves all
members profiles, when they are originally created as well as when they are
modified. We reserve the right to refuse any profile or photograph that we feel
is inappropriate for this site. Also, we ask that you do not put any personal
information etc, in your profile, including but not limited to:

URLs, phone numbers, full names, addresses)

How long does it take to have my profile posted?
It usually takes 1-5 business days to have your profile posted, depending on
how many people sign up each day. In most cases the profile should be up within
24 hours after the sign up process is complete. If 5 days have passed and your
profile still has not been posted, please notify us via Contact Us page.
How do I update my profile?
To update your profile, please follow these steps:

Why/How do I upload my Photograph(s)?
Looking at photos is an important part of most peoples selection process. A
nice picture of you adds personality and presence to your profile and profiles
with photos get browsed ten times more often than those without photos.
What are the guidelines for posting a photo?
Photographs will not appear on the site until they are approved by our
customer services. We reserve the right to reject any photo at our discretion.
Our system automatically crops all photos to fit into our standard size.

Photo Content: Nude, obscene, sexual or otherwise offensive
photos will not be posted. Cartoon characters and photos of celebrities are
copyrighted and will not be posted.

You must be in the photo and clearly visible. Images of
minors (children) will ensure rejection of the photograph.

Photo Tips: Choose a recent photo that reflects your
current appearance. Use a photo of yourself alone for your primary image.

How do I post a photo?
We make it easy for you, by offering three ways to post a photo:

Option 1: Upload a Photo
Firstly you have to login into the site with your username and password.
Click on Upload Photos, located on the left side of the page and follow the
instructions.
Once approved, uploaded photos will be posted as they are submitted. Our
system automatically crops your photo if necessary before uploading it. Due to
the volume of photos that we receive, it may take up to 5 working days for
your photo to appear on your profile.

Option 2: Email a Photo
To help speed up the process when you email your photo, please include the
following information:

First and last name.

Birth Date (dd/mm/yyyy, to be used for verification

Photo file as attachment.

Only one photo per email please.

Specify which photo you want to be your primary (if sending
more than one). Send photos to Photo Upload Request. Please send photos as
attachments only. We cannot accept a picture embedded in an email.
How do I temporarily turn off my profile?
To turn off your profile so that other members cannot see it, please follow
these steps:
Log into AmericanLoveZone.com with your username and password.
Click on the Control Panel or Edit Profile link on the left hand side of the
page.
Click on Suspend Account that appears in Blue and follow the instruction.
If you later want to reverse it, go back into the same page and click on
Activate Account.
How do I permanently remove my listing and delete my
account?
To permanently delete your profile, go to Control Panel and click on
unregister me link. This is not recommended in case you later change your mind.
Moreover, you can safely suspend your account and no one will be able to view
your profile.
I forgot my username and/or password, what do I do?
Simply follow the link to our home page and under members login section,
click on Forgot for our automated password/Username lookup form. Your username
and password is then emailed to your email account.
How do I change my password?
Log into the site using your username and password.
Click on the My Profile and scroll down to where your password is.
Enter your new password in the appropriate box and click on the Submit button at
the bottom of the page.
How do I change my email address?
Log into the site using your username and password.
Click on the Edit Profile and scroll down to where your email address is.
Enter your new email address in the appropriate box and click on the Save
Changes button at the bottom of the page.
How do I search for other members?
There are three ways that you can search our database: by username, by id or
by choosing other selection criteris.
If you are looking for a specific person and you remember their username or id,
enter it in the User Nname or User Id field at the top of the Search Page.
If you are not looking for a specific person, but rather someone who matches a
description you give, then select other fields on the Extensive Search Page. You
can search by almost any category of information that we keep track of,
including sex, location, languages spoken, etc.
How do I send Kisses! to other members?
You need to be logged in with your membership detail.
Carry out a username search of the member.
When the members detail appears, click on the link Kisses!.
How do I send emails to members?
Only Subscribed Members can initiate email contact with other members: To
contact other members please follow these steps:
Log into the site using your username and password.
Click on the Search Profiles link.
Enter the username of the member you wish to contact into the username search
field, or select your search preferences and click on the Search button to see
your results.
Click on a Contact icon below the members summary profile and proceed
accordingly. Type the Subject, Write your message, and click on Send, to send
your message.
Standard (Non Paying) members: Standard members are allowed to view as many
numbers of profiles as they wish but cannot email any member.
How do I get emails from other members?
AmericanLoveZone.com uses a sophisticated emailing system. When you get mail, it
goes into your mailbox on AmericanLoveZone.com, and you are also automatically
notified in your private email address. (The sender does not get to see your
private email address. This double emailing is driven by our database.) This
will present you with a link back to AmericanLoveZone.com, where you can then log in
as usual to read your mail.
How do I block members from contacting me?
Log into the site using your username and password.
Carry out a username search of the member.
When the members detail appears, click on Block.
What is the Cupid Service and how do I use it?
The Cupid service allows you, as an AmericanLoveZone.com member to select a
variety of personal characteristics that youre looking for in a person, and the
site will then notify you via emails of new AmericanLoveZone.com members who match
your preferences. In other words, you will receive prompt notification of new
members without having to come to the site every day to look for them yourself.
How do I turn on/off my Cupid emails?
To turn on/off Cupid reports, please follow these steps:
Log into the site using your username and password.
Click on Edit Profile located on the left side of the page.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Do Not Notify Me.
Go to the bottom of the form and click on button Save Changes.
What is the Hot List feature?
Your Hot List is a list of members whom you are interested in. It maintains
a link to their profile. When you do a search and click on Hot List icon, the
member is added to your Hot List. You can later remove people from your Hot List
by clicking on the Delete checkbox next to their name under Communicator area.
How do I upload my voice?
To Upload Voice, please follow these steps:
Log into the site using your username and password.
Click on Upload Voice from the left navigation bar.
Use the BROWSE button to select the audio file you want to use. Press UPLOAD
button to upload your voice.
You may also use Media software link to upload your voice.
How do I upload my video?
To Upload Video, please follow these steps:
